Vaccines-This was one of the main suspected autism causes since a few years. But no one has been able to really prove the theory that vaccinations cause Autism. Among the two theories linking autism and vaccines, the first one suggests the MMR(Mumps-Measles-Rubella) vaccine may cause autism. The second theory suggests a preservative named thimerosal used in certain vaccines with a strong link to autism causes.
Genetic autism causes: several studies have proved that there is a link between genetics and autism. Families with a history of autism are more likely to have children with autism.
Bad parenting -Autism causes-: Since several years parents have been thought to cause Autism by neglecting there children causing the typical social interactions symptoms. But there is no proof for this belief.
Atypical brain development: a few studies have shown some difference between the brains of autistic children and normal children. Autistic children are found to have larger brains than normal children.
Immune deficiency-autism causes: There is no enough studies to support this argument. However some researchers have developed effective treatments based on boosting the immunity of the patient.
Food allergies: Certain studies conducted shows that certain food allergies can cause autistic symptoms. Among the food factor gluten is considered as prime culprit.
Poor nutrition: Researches shows poor nutrition is quite unlikely to be one of the autism causes.
